Metal
We love metal. To a point where we bring it into our projects. This project is about moshing.
Moshing is fun and safe if practiced with caution. There are rules and etiquette to moshing. In this project,
we try to enforce the etiquette by making the music dependant of the moshing, not the opposite.
Mosh Shirt is for moshers, metalheads, rockers, emos and any other social group that glorifies running into each other.
It is also for that big guy, in the center of the pit. He moshes alons. Moshing is a team sport. It can't be performed
alone. This is so he may, one day, need his fellow metalheads.
By wearing the shirt, the metal heads will need to mosh and keep each other alive and strong. If they mosh, the metal
will become louder and speedier (if they start sweating). So of course the users will want to keep
on moshing at a steady pace. They will feel empowered as users for their movements will be directly linked to the
music that keeps them going.
The main point of this project is that we want to show society that metal, moshing, and any seemingly
aggressive behaviour is not dangerous. It is a very peculiar camaradery that is long gone is today's consumer
society. This brotherliness is worthy of the bond between soliders on a battlefield. Be they vikings or
today's infantry.
